ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP

Section 1. Eligibility

Membership in the Sacramental Community of the Coworkers of Christ is open to all baptized Christians who: Affirm the core beliefs and practices of the Community, as outlined in the Common Rule. Seek to live a life dedicated to God and service, in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Are committed to participating in the life of the Community, including but not limited to worship services, fellowship activities, apostolic works, spiritual formation, and prayer.

Section 2. Application

Individuals interested in joining the Community must submit a formal application and participate in an interview process with designated leadership.  There is no application necessary for Friends.

Section 3. Rights and Responsibilities

Vowed Members, both Professed and Confessed, of the Sacramental Community have the right to participate fully in the life of the Community, including worship services, voting on matters of governance, and holding leadership positions (subject to qualifications outlined elsewhere in these General Statutes).  Vowed Members also have a responsibility to uphold the core values of the Community, actively participate in its ministries, and contribute to its spiritual and financial well-being.
