COVENANT 16 – SPEAK IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE

We actively participate in the ecumenical movement, fostering dialogue based on truth, charity, and prayer. Our goal is to share the unity of Christ and remove any obstacles within ourselves or our community that might hinder this. We embrace fellowship and the Sacraments with all who call on Jesus’ name, regardless of their spiritual journey. However, in our openness to all who call themselves by the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we never compromise the Apostolic Faith delivered to us by our fathers and mothers of the Church.

We also extend dialogue beyond Christian denominations. We engage with non-believers in our communities, simultaneously respecting their convictions and our own Christian practices during these interactions.

Mindful of our calling, the Coworkers of Christ collaborate with people of goodwill in various areas. This includes charitable work, social assistance, worship initiatives, education, and international solidarity efforts. Through these collaborations, we offer opportunities for human and economic development to individuals and nations in need.
